Born and
bred in Bolton, Lancashire, Jane Deane originally trained as
a straight actress, but ever since learning to juggle, most
of her professional work has been in comedy, circus
and family
entertainment.
Over the
last 15 years, Jane has performed all over the UK, appearing
in shows for Thorpe
Park, Chessington WOA, Disney Special Events, the BBC, Haven
Holidays, Zippo's Circus Academy (ACA) and all
three Butlins Family Entertainment Resorts.
She spent two seasons at Legoland, Windsor
where she featured in their circus show and co-wrote, devised
and performed the highly popular 'Roobarb &
Mustard Show' , before joining a national theatre
tour of the children's TV show 'Wizadora'.
Since then, amongst numerous other engagements, she has worked
on four summer production shows for Qdos Entertainment,
and eight seasons in panto
for The Hiss & Boo Company, Duggie Chapman
and Evolution Pantomimes.

As an actress,
Jane has worked with a variety of young peoples' theatre companies
and taken part in educational radio plays for BBC
Radio 3. When Jane isn't performing, she runs circus
skills workshops in schools, writes children's shows and co-runs
entertainment company, "AVVA
LAFF!" PRODUCTIONS,
providing shows and performers for Legoland Windsor's special
events department.
